I've been a cashier, and it can be a challenging job. Also it is a career that doesn't pay a living wage, and should. Not everyone can be a CEO or programmer or hold a government position. There are so many jobs and people out there that are essential, like cashiers and janitors, that should pay more so that more people can at least have the basics.

I've also cleaned offices at a time when I held two other jobs. I think everyone should try other jobs or at least visualize how other people do those jobs and that those jobs do matter. Many of those jobs matter even more than or at the same level as that CEO position, if we truly think about it.
